"The Humans - an epic tale of big hairy apes on badass choppers looking for sleazy, biker gang exploitation style kicks in an alternative, bleak and nihilistic version of late 1960’s California"
- The Comics Beat
First announced at Image Expo in July, offbeat writer Keenan Marshall Keller (Galactic Breakdown, Drippy Bone Books) and artist Tom Neely’s (The Blot, Henry & Glenn Forever, Popeye) new project with colorist Kristina Collantes, THE HUMANS, will ride into comic shops on November 5. Readers are advised to buckle up for a high octane, no holds barred, ape-biker-gang chopper cruise back into '70s exploitation genre bliss. This first issue features an eye-popping back-cover pin-up by artist Benjamin Marra (Night Business, Gangsta Rap Posse).
Created by Keenan Marshall Keller (Galactic Breakdown, Drippy Bone Books) and Tom Neely (The Blot, Henry & Glenn Forever, Popeye), The HUMANS is their combined dream - an action packed genre comic overflowing with dynamic primal action and psychedelic energy.
